Scapia Credit Card Lounge Access: The Complete Guide
Airport lounge access is often the most sought-after benefit in a credit card. The Scapia Federal Credit Card markets itself heavily on "Unlimited Lounge Access," but how does it actually work? Let's decode the rules.
1. Unlimited Domestic Lounge Access
Yes, the claim is true. Scapia offers unlimited access to participating domestic airport lounges across India. This sets it apart from competitors that usually cap visits at 2 per quarter.
However, there is a catch: The Spend Criteria.
- You must spend ₹5,000 on your Scapia card in the current billing cycle to unlock lounge access for the next billing cycle.
- Example: If your bill is generated on the 20th, spending ₹5,000 between Jan 20th and Feb 20th unlocks unlimited access for the Feb 20th - Mar 20th period.
This "active usage" requirement prevents misuse and allows Scapia to offer this benefit for free.
2. Does Scapia Have International Lounge Access?
This is a common point of confusion. Currently, Scapia credit card lounge access is strictly for Domestic terminals within India.
It does NOT come with a Priority Pass or DreamFolks card for international terminals abroad. If you need international lounge access, you might need to look at premium cards, but for a Lifetime Free card, domestic-only is standard.

3. List of Supported Lounges
Scapia uses the standard Visa/Mastercard network (Federal Bank) for lounge authentication. It generally covers major lounges in:
- Delhi (T1, T2, T3)
- Mumbai (T1, T2)
- Bangalore (080 Lounge / BLR Lounge)
- Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and major Tier-2 cities.
Always check the Scapia app for the most updated list of eligible lounges before you travel.
4. Digital Access vs Physical Card
You can swipe your physical Scapia card at the lounge reception. A nominal fee (usually ₹2 or ₹25) will be deducted to validate the card and reversed later. Ensure you have enabled "Contactless" or "POS" transactions in the app settings.
